Meet the Teacher: All About Ms. Holonics.

My full name is Claudia Holonics. I grew up and still live in Hamilton, New Jersey. I have a Masters Degree in Elementary and Special Education from The College of New Jersey. I graduated in May of 2021. This will be my fourth year teaching in South Brunswick and my second year teaching at Monmouth Junction. I have two brothers ( 14 & 22)  and a dog named Brewster.

I have always been an avid reader and love reading short stories to the students in my classroom as well. This year, I look forward to reading a novel to the whole class as well! When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy going to the beach during the summer months, scrapbooking, traveling with friends, going to Zumba fitness classes, watching new television shows on Netflix, finding new restaurants to try, and baking banana bread! It is so good!

This past summer I vacationed in Maine with college roommates and Ocean City, Maryland with my family. I am currently in Estonia and Finland. I watched the sunrise at Acadia National Park over the summer and hiked many different trails while I was there as well. I enjoyed time kayaking on the lake and barbecuing with friends! In Ocean City Maryland we spent time enjoying yummy food and time on the beach with each other!

My favorite food is pasta. My favorite dessert is ice cream, specifically mint chocolate chip. During the school day, you can find me snacking on a Kit Kit during snack time ( not all of the time of course!). I love iced tea, specially flavored iced tea such as peach.
